DESCRIPTION:Early exposure to various diverse vocabulary has so many benefits for little ones! Join us to find out more about this program.\nThe goal is simple: Read 1,000 books to your child before he or she reaches Kindergarten. Each child will receive a fill in tracker to keep track of their progress. As the program progresses, children will get excited about earning their next “sticker” and adding it to our wall here in the library!\nProgram is open to children from birth to 5 years old. And you have until the time they begin Kindergarten to complete.\nLibrary books, books from home, and books read to them at daycare ALL COUNT toward the 1,000 Books goal!\nThis is a program that is basically done on your own. The library will have recommended book lists for various ages too!\nGoals are set for each 100 books read. And a special prize for those who complete the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten challenge.\nSound like something of interest? Come in and get more information!\n
